Vada

Vada is a small beach resort with about 4500 inhabitants, between Rosignano and Cacina. Here is the renowned 5 Kms of sandy beach that borders on a pine wood. With the turquoise blue sea and white sand, one has the feeling of being in the Caribbean – und just because of that, the advertising firms are drawn here even in Winter. One important word - WATERSPORTS! One can do almost anything here – snorkelling and underwater fishing, skiting for beginners and those with experience, and just normal paddling and swimming with the family.

Vada – the beach is the most important draw for the tourists – lies in fertile plains that is intensely farmed..  The coastline of Rosignano Solvbay is marked by the white beaches with modern bathing facilities. Particularly famous are the so called „white beaches“ that stretch for about 5 Kms between Rosgnano Solvay and Vada, where there is a stretch of finest whitest sand. On the beach at „Lillatro“ one can take part in courses for sailing, windsurfing or kite-surfing (organised by the Windsurf Club Gorette) or on one of the many other activities on offer.
